2. What data do we collect?
When you use our website or services, we may process the following data:
First and last name
Company name (if applicable)
Email address
Phone number
Other data you actively provide (for example in the message field of the contact form).
We do not process special personal data (such as social security numbers or passport copies) via the website. If this is necessary for our services, we will ask you to provide it through a secure environment.

3. Why do we collect this data?
We use your data for the following purposes:
Contact: To be able to call or email you if necessary to provide our services.
Quotes & Agreements: To prepare a quote or enter into a contract with you.
Legal obligation: To comply with administrative obligations (such as the Tax Authority).

4. How long do we keep your data?
We do not keep your data longer than strictly necessary.
Leads (Contact form): If you fill in the contact form but do not become a customer, we delete your data 3 months after the last contact.
Customers: We keep customer data for as long as necessary for the assignment, plus the statutory retention period of 7 years for tax administration.

5. Sharing with third parties
We never sell your data to third parties. We only share data with parties necessary for our business operations (processors). We have made agreements with these parties to ensure your privacy:
Hosting & Website: Our website is hosted on servers in Germany (Hetzner) and the Netherlands.
Telephony: For our accessibility, we use VoipZeker.
Email & Calendar: We use Google Workspace.
Analytics: We use Google Analytics (see chapter 6).
Data processing primarily takes place within the European Economic Area (EEA). Where data is shared with American parties (such as Google), we ensure this is done in accordance with applicable privacy legislation.

6. Cookies and Google Analytics
Our website uses cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored in the browser of your computer, tablet, or smartphone when you first visit this website.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to track how visitors use our website. We have entered into a data processing agreement with Google for this purpose. We have configured Google Analytics in a privacy-friendly manner:
The last octet of your IP address is masked.
The ‘data sharing’ option is turned off.
We do not use other Google services in combination with Google Analytics cookies.
You can opt out of cookies by configuring your internet browser not to store cookies anymore.

7. Security
We take the protection of your data seriously to prevent misuse, loss, and unauthorized access. Our website uses a secure SSL connection. In addition, we store data on our own secure servers under our own management.

You have the right to view, correct, or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent for data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data.
You can send a request for access, correction, or deletion to divna@bridgetobalkans.com. To ensure that the request was made by you, we may ask you to identify yourself. We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, but within four weeks.
